City Management
In Solar Society, you take on the role of landlord and architect, entrusted with the development and management of a vibrant city. From infrastructure to economy, every decision shapes the destiny of your metropolis.
Economic challenges in the game
The economic challenges will be similar to those in reality: lack of funds, construction mistakes, lack of workers.
We are aware of the fact that an economic model that works is very difficult to achieve, but as we mentioned before, our solution is to be involved in the game and to help in exceptional cases. For example, as a concrete case, we will own lands with important resources. If there is an electricity crisis in the game, if the demand is too high, and the players who will own power plants will not cope, we will intervene and offer from our own resources, until the problem is solved.
Planning and Construction
Each individual building will have a purpose. There will be buildings from restaurants and places of entertainment, to clinics, universities, parking lots and accommodation blocks for residents. The organization and placement of buildings will have various influences such as the happiness of citizens, pollution and so on.
Resource Management
Efficient management of resources such as money, materials, and energy will be required to sustain and expand the cities. Progress will be related to a steady supply of essentials like food, water, and electricity while investing in advanced technologies to improve resource efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Economic Development
There will be trade routes and immigrants imports will be required to stimulate growth, create jobs, and generate revenue.
Citizen Welfare
The happiness and well-being of the citizens will be another important factor. They will require essential services including healthcare, education, and recreational facilities to improve quality of life
Infrastructure and Utilities
The game will require players to build and maintain critical infrastructure such as transportation networks, communication systems, and public amenities. Infrastructure will be mandatory to accommodate the growing population and technological advancements, ensuring efficient movement and connectivity within the city.
Disaster Management
Prepare for unexpected events and natural disasters that may threaten your city. You will have to develop emergency response plans, build disaster-resistant structures, and deploy resources to mitigate damage and protect your citizens during crises.
Research and Innovation
You will have to invest in research and development to unlock new technologies, innovations, and architectural marvels. Discovery advancements in energy efficiency, urban planning, and environmental conservation will propel your city into the future.
Cultural and Aesthetic Development
Cultural diversity and artistic expression through museums, theaters, and landmarks that celebrate your city’s heritage will be another important thing. You will have to design aesthetically pleasing environments with parks, monuments, and green spaces to enhance livability and attract tourists.
Collaboration and Competition
You will be able to engage with neighboring cities and collaborate with other players through trade, alliances, and joint projects. There will be global rankings and city-building challenges to showcase your management skills and earn prestigious rewards.
